She was later diagnosed as having Rheumatoid arthritis. His career as a skater with fellow countryman Denis Samokhin made him famous. They took part in the Junior World Championships in two different years, placing eighth in 1993, and seventh in 1994. Following a brief partnership with Maxim Kachanov, they placed fifth in the Goodwill Games of 1994. Then in 1995 she teamed alongside Vladimir Fedorov. They had a great time together. They won twice the Finlandia Trophy, and they took part in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They were able to accomplish more but the apex of their collaboration was when they placed 15th in the 1998 World Championships.
